1. Service description
Scrip is an award travel search and booking assistance platform. We help users find and book business class flights using airline loyalty miles at a fraction of the cash price. We search across multiple airline loyalty programs, display estimated and live award prices, and guide you through the booking process.
2. Platform fee
We charge a platform fee of 10% of the saving achieved compared to the equivalent cash ticket price. This fee is authorised (not charged) when you submit a booking request. The fee is only captured when your booking is confirmed with the airline. If the platform fee calculates to $0 or less, no platform fee is charged.
3. Refund policy
If a booking cannot be completed for any reason, the platform fee authorisation is cancelled immediately and no charge is made to your payment method. If a booking is confirmed and subsequently cancelled by the airline, we will refund the platform fee in full within 5 business days. Airline fees and miles deducted are subject to the airline's own cancellation policy.
4. Credential storage
If you choose to connect your airline loyalty account, your credentials are encrypted using AES-256-GCM encryption and stored securely. Credentials are used solely to search award availability and execute bookings on your behalf. You may delete your stored credentials at any time from your account settings. Credit card login credentials are never stored by Scrip.
5. No availability guarantee
Award seat availability is not guaranteed. Prices displayed as "estimated" are based on published airline award charts and may not reflect real-time availability. Actual pricing and seat availability may differ at the time of booking. We make every effort to provide accurate information but cannot guarantee any specific outcome.
6. Limitation of liability
Scrip is not liable for airline cancellations, schedule changes, denied boarding, lost luggage, or any other losses arising from award bookings made through our platform. Our service is limited to searching availability and facilitating the booking process. The contract of carriage is between you and the airline.
7. Governing law
For users in India, these terms are governed by the laws of India with jurisdiction in Mumbai. For users in the United States, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware.
